Cargo Jam Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 30, 2026
Cargo Jam is developed by Argon Fox Studio. This policy explains how the Android game, package com.argonfox.cargojam, handles information. Contact us at contact.argonfox@gmail.com.
Information stored on your device
Cargo Jam saves game progress, settings, earned virtual currency, unlocks, missions, virtual market activity, and play-time statistics on your device. The game does not send these save files or its local play-time statistics to a developer-operated server.
You may choose an image through Android's system file picker to create a custom cargo skin. The game processes the selected image locally and stores the resulting skin on your device. It does not upload these images or provide a public image-sharing service. It does not request broad access to your photo library, contacts, location, camera, or microphone.
The game does not require an account and has no developer-operated account or cloud-save service. In-game coins and diamonds do not represent money and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for real-world rewards.
Advertising and Google services
Cargo Jam integrates Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK and uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage advertising privacy choices.
Google's advertising SDK documentation states that the SDK automatically collects and shares IP addresses, product interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. An IP address can be used to estimate a device's general location. Identifiers can include an advertising ID, app set ID, and other applicable device-account identifiers. Google's documentation states that data collected by its advertising SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.
These Google services operate under Google's policies. Cargo Jam does not integrate a separate developer analytics SDK or crash-reporting service, and it does not send player names, email addresses, save files, custom images, or a custom advertising user ID to the advertising SDK.
Read Google's Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from partner apps, and Google Mobile Ads data disclosures.
Age range and advertising choices
Cargo Jam is positioned for players aged 13 and over, including teens and adults, and is not designed for children under 13. Store content ratings are assigned separately and can differ by region.
The game asks for a broad age range for advertising privacy. It does not ask for a date of birth. The age-range choice is saved locally. Google receives the privacy-treatment signals used by its SDKs. Advertising is disabled for the under-16 option and for players who prefer not to state an age range. Requests for the 16–17 option use Google's teen advertising treatment. The advertising content limit is set to Teen for all ad-enabled age groups.
You can change this choice in Settings under Ads privacy / age range. Where Google requires a consent message, UMP supplies that message. Advertising starts only when UMP permits ad requests. When UMP requires a privacy-options entry point, Privacy options appears in Settings so you can review your choices.
The core game remains available without an internet connection or an available advertisement. Rewarded ads start only after a player chooses an ad offer. Declining or failing to finish an ad does not remove previously earned progress.
Retention and deletion
Local game data remains on your device until it is removed. Android's app-data controls or uninstalling the game can remove the game's local saves, settings, age-range preference, and stored custom skins. This removes local progress; there is no account-based cloud restore provided by the developer. Removing a custom skin does not delete the original image you selected from your files.
Google controls retention of the information processed by its services under its own policies. Clearing Cargo Jam's local data does not itself delete Google's records. You can use the available Google advertising/privacy controls, including resetting or deleting your advertising ID in supported Android settings, and contact Google through its privacy tools. Contact contact.argonfox@gmail.com for questions about Cargo Jam's data handling; we will explain what information we control and what is handled by Google.
Updates
We may update this policy when Cargo Jam's data handling changes. The effective date at the top identifies the version of this policy.
